Michelangelo actually embedded in his Sistine Chapel masterwork hidden images and symbols. The object (God, his enveloping angels and robes flapping) actually represented the human brain and its stem.
I saw a TV program about the hidden symbols in his art, like in the statue of Moses, but can't recall them now. I have memory probs.
